Uprima pills

Originally developed to treat Parkinson's disease, Uprima pills work in a different way to oral therapies such as Viagra and Levitra for male impotence. These treatments are PDE-5 inhibitors and block the action of certain enzymes involved in erectile response. Therefore, it works in the brain to improve the natural signals to the penis following sexual stimulation. Once dissolved, Uprima Pills stimulates dopamine receptors in the hypothalamus and mid-brain, enhancing the natural erection process. This allows the excitory signal transmitted down to the spinal cord and then to the sacral parasympathetic nucleus, which in turn stimulates parasympathetic activity of sacral nerves supplying the penis. This relaxes the smooth penile muscle and allows the pelvic arteries to dilate. The dilated arteries then fill with blood and the penis becomes erect.

One of the main benefits is the speed at which it works. Once dissolved under the tongue, clinical tests have shown the treatment starts acting within 15 to 30 minutes.

Tablets come in 2mg and 3mg doses and should only be taken once in any 8 hour period, and no more than three times in 24 hours.
